Open Wheel Modifieds are highly specialized racing machines that feature a tubular chassis from the firewall back to the rear of the car, with the front clip of the car based on a stock factory passenger vehicle and while much of the components on the race cars are based on automobile components, however, there is nothing stock about Open Wheel Modified racing machines. The Open Wheel Modifieds that compete with the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series are required to weigh a minimum of 2,400 pounds with the driver and utilize engines that are made up of mostly high-performance components that will make in excess of 700 horsepower.
